The Poetry of Saga

Now, for your reading pleasure, let Jason lull  you into a deep and mindless trance as he speaks to both you and Chauni in your dreams through his poetry...

He is seductive...
     He is charming...
He is next to you now.

            After all, Jason is a...

Look for me not upon distant horizon,
for I take my refuge hidden from dawn
Traces of my being erased...
Your sensual moods I shall not replace
‘Seek of me not...for I am already gone

Lift not the lid on coffins’ dark imagination
in the searing heat of a midsummer’s afternoon
‘Live your emotions while I conceal mine
but, beware the rise of the moon

You may drink deeply of the fresh and pure rain-song
Do you feel it dampen your wanton thirst?
You may indulge in all manners of temptations
Take heed though—For when I arise,
I shall wet-whisper thoughts of passionate pleasures first

Fear that formless void of nothingness
that swallows the minds narrowed path
'For spirits do live...
Cats have but only six lives left...
Wild beasts I have bent to my wrath

Tarry not alone in fields
Stray not left of that which is right
Travel with all of your hopes and beliefs
Hasten!  For I escort the night

I know the aged and the young—All of humanities lot
The rich, the poor, the husband, the wife
To me, it seldom matters not
For it is only mortals who possess this elixir I must consume to bring once again to my skin the blush of fresh rose petal-like bloom

I give freedom ~ A release from care
I seek only a dance in the coldest of place
My kiss ~ My kiss takes away all inhibitions and fears
Look into my green-mirrored eyes...
Cannot you see the rapture upon your face?

Look for me not in the ice crystals of stardust
Neither in the heavens, nor in falsehoods, nor in trust
For as I was once before, I can transpose again
My life is time ~ The raging fire, the inferno...
these are my only friends

‘For you see:
Adam knew of two women in his time-
The brazen Lillith-and the contemptible Eve
Biblical history was unkind to my mother,
the dark haired whore... Lillith took her leave

While on the Desert of Despair
Beyond the Garden of Creation
Satan called out...
As a voyeuristic God looked down upon
their blasphemous acts of fornication

The nefarious demon and the twice scorned, vengeful pagan priestess of bronze
Her hands, furrowed deeply into the sands,
crushing it to dust Hell-spawned
As my father, Mephistopheles, raped deeply into her bowels, panting, “Whore of Babylon!”

From that forgotten ménage a trios
my eternal damnation was sired
‘Although I was not born unto the world for millennia more, I can still hear their shrieks and their moans as they copulated in sinful desire

And now, in the guise of a man...
A man whose soul has been forfeit over the years
I grieve... For I have lost a host of possessions ~
The most precious of them, my tears

For when you sleep,
ascend the plateau of dream-conscience
Reach up!  Grasp firm!  Climb higher!
For there I am to be found upon the pinnacle of the pyramid
For the deeds done long ago at Genesis
I have been so cursed

Know of me only as Vampire

Have you ever been in love?   I mean, caught in a spell of warmth and have so many feelings that seem to want to seep from your pores, kind of love?  If you have then you may be able to relate to what Jason feels when he pens this poem to Chauni-professing his love for her-and yet, asking her questions that she not be able to answer.

The White Witch of Forever ~ The One          (MP3 Audio)          (Image page w/MP3)

For thou art the Wiccan that cometh
Pray, The White Witch of Forever, The One, foretold of from the Beyond...
'With the hair of flame flowing
'The lips that kiss the quiet
Your eye cast to where arise a virgin dawn

Doth thou gentle fawn orbs absolve pains birthed in fear?
Doth thou arms provide mercy for those whom dwell in torment?
Art thou tender kind hands able to mend pitiful hearts broken with a wave-
A wave that is spiced with the fresh woodland scent?

Art thou spells and chants pure ~
'Brimming with pronounced hope and reverent faith?
Doth thou kneel in thanks at birth of New Moon?
And can thou feel nature’s change at the solstice of seasons
while never dreading that Time dissolves into the Past must too soon?

Oh speaketh to me of your potions created-
Made strong by thou devout purpose and thou Magical means
I beg of thee Witch ~
Pray tell me of the shadows light as my crystal tears fall
upon the soil where is sown loves tender seed

Is thou power immense with thou body chaste of dark hate?
Where leads this path in green forest glen?
Doth thou stand solitary and renounced of thou coven-
or wilt thou embrace the young sisters once again?

And in the gloom of a harsh winter when the hearth fire flame burn blue
‘A damp snow weighing heavy upon boughs of pine
Wilt thou take sanctuary in yonder feather bed
and traipse among fields of spring flowers in thou mind?

Cannot thou feel the bright meadow flowers under foot?
Cannot thou feel the mild caress of gentle breeze?
Art thou able to explore and find the source of running brook
as it frolics along grassy banks making its journey toward the seas?

And what of the boulders strewn about this vast moor?
Are they ancient relics of ages of ice
or just bones, bare, scattered, left behind from a far away time?

Art thou learned enough to cast a pebble into mirrored water
and hear the liquid bells chime?

My sacred Witch of Forever, My One I know of ~
'Wilt thou conquer the scrounge of mans cruelty toward others?
'His wars fought against brothers?
'His pious mistakes?
‘His trespasses and his most blasphemous of deeds?
Or wilt thou benevolent copper-hued face
become scarred with the frustrations ~
Thou Celtic incantations falling short of their needs?

Help the feeble
Curse the wicked
Heal those who are sick
Bring oil lamps to those not sighted
For in thou heart there is a healing thread that lies in wait

All the wonder that thou know of!
'The countless raptures still not told of!
For I believe thou goodness shall unshackle the chains upon Creations Gate

And may the days of one thousand years find thee as youthful as thou art now...
Mix the herbs of natures beauty
Pour the wine of sweet ferment
Add the root of mandrake ~  think loving thoughts of me

For as thou slumber, I shall toil
cast far and away from my native soil

For when I dream, Chauni...
I dream the mist-filled Love Dream...and I walk with thee
