Rendezvous

Day brings thoughts and with them brings desires
Twilight carries the expensive gifts of enchanted surprise
Dawn rewards the innocent sleepy masses of humanity
with a smile on His face as He releases a dusting
of soft sunlight to greet their eyes

The Night, however, is a special creature
She can slip ever so silently underneath of your covers
She can tease you and arouse you,
seize you in Her mouth and suffer to please you
Gripped in her gaze and being stroked by her hand
you have no choice --- You have been chosen
You must be the sacrificial offering upon the altar in the Temple of Lovers

She is extremely cunning in Her sexual gentleness
She is blessed and sinfully considerate in Her possessive moments of heat
Overpowering your dreams and tantalizing your forbidden cravings
She will press Her lithe body on top of yours as you perspire with ache
...while devouring your fantasies whole She will feed

Night is a seeker
A sensual, most desirable predator
She is the skilled harlot of the hunt---
the nymph of nocturnal encounters
She is the timeless archer who sets out to ensnare Her game
Stalking lovers the realms of erotic darkness
She has never been known to miss Her prey

Prizing Her trophies taken
Mounting them hurriedly and with unabashed gluttony
She will laugh and disappear come the daybreak
Leaving you drained, limp and stilled---
shivering in embarrassed torment from your wet emissions
... While you lie there, remembering;
Secretly hoping that once again She will call out your name

Another day brightens and another twilight passes by
The heavens above sketch the horizon’s canvas with color,
painting them in random, whimsical shades of tortured magenta,
insane violets and pastel blues
Far off at the Vanishing Point, Night makes ready the arrows in Her quiver
She runs Her tongue over Her lips
while Her fingers touch lewdly those sensitive places on Her body

The Harpies shriek

She is in need

The hunt begins
